The Deccan Odyssey will now offer pan-India rail tour beginning October 2013. The itinerary spanning over 7 nights will begin from Mumbai and conclude in Delhi. The journey will encompass trip to an array of World Heritage Sites and wildlife sanctuary at Sawai Madhopur. Earlier the same run was operated through a private charter.
Previously known as the Indian Maharaja, this pan-India rail journey will begin from Chhatrapati Shivaji terminus in Mumbai. The train will then travel to the UNESCO inscribed World Heritage Site of Ajanta and Ellora Caves before proceeding to Udaipur in Rajasthan and then covering Jaipur and Ranthambore before leaving for Agra.
The Deccan Odyssey pan-India itinerary will start on 15th of January 2014. There are a total of 6 pan-India departures up for grab between January-April 2014. The tariff for the pan-India journey on board the Deccan Odyssey starts from US dollar 550 per person per night on twin sharing basis.
The tariff of Deccan Odyssey pan-India journey includes the cost of accommodation on board the train, all food on and off the train, monument and safari fees, transportation at all destinations included in the journey and guided sightseeing tours.
