Like every year, the journey will commence from the Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus (Mumbai, Maharashtra) and end at Safdarjung Railway Station (Delhi) throughout the season from November 2013 to April 2014. The tariffs for lean and peak seasons have also been revised for all types of accommodations and duly updated on the website.

The itinerary of this luxury trains makes you travel from Mumbai all the way to Delhi via Aurangabad, Udaipur, Sawai Madhopur, Jaipur, Bharatpur, Agra, Fatehpur Sikri ,Ellora Caves and and Ajanta Caves. The train also has a vice-versa journey from Delhi to Mumbai. Indian Maharaja has 11 aesthetically appointed cabins for the accommodation of the guests. The elements like 11 passenger cars (Deluxe cabins), 2 Presidential Suites with a living room, bedroom, and attached toilet, CD/MP3 player, Channel Music, and Wall to wall carpeting are also available to make the journey blissful for the passengers. There are two restaurants, serving both Indian as well as European cuisines.   • The rates are per person per night for a minimum of 7 nights and EXCLUDING 3.09% service tax.
  • The tariff includes a number of fees including entrance fees in the monuments, palaces, parks, boat rides, and also rickshaw rides at Bharatpur. The tariff however does not include the business car facilities, Spa facilities, liquor, fees for video camera, and laundry.

Reservation and Cancellation Policy
The reservation as well as cancellation policies as mentioned in The Indian Maharaja tariff are as follows:

To Reserve:
  • Pay 20% of ticket value at the time of confirming the booking.
  • Pay the remaining 80% of ticket value 30 days prior to departure.

To Cancel:

  • 5% of the ticket value will be deducted if cancellation is made until 60 days prior to departure.
  • 20% of the ticket value will be deducted if cancellation is made between 59 and 30 days prior to departure.
  • 50% of the ticket value will be deducted if cancellation is made between 29 and 15 days prior to departure.
  • 100% of the ticket value will be deducted if the cancellation is made 14 days prior to departure.
